SCLEROTHERAPY
Sclerotherapy
Treatment strategy that includes infusing fluid through the skin and directly into varicose veins in order to make clotting inside the vessel, which causes it to shrivel. Sclerotherapy has appeared successful in treating spider veins, iliac or femoral veins (those on either side of your groin), reticular veins (those that frame a web-like pattern over the surface of your leg), and postphlebitic venous insufficiency.
