Thrombolytic therapy

Treatment for peripheral arterial disease and is used to dissolve blood clots in the arteries of the legs and may be used in cases where surgery or another type of intervention would not be possible. Thrombolysis works by breaking down fibrin strands that are blocking an artery, restoring blood flow and improving symptoms such as pain, numbness, cramping, swelling and discomfort.
